Our Story

Different parts of the BSMA Bean:

Bonnie:

I was born in Australia, and I have a brother who is 4 years younger than me. I have grown up enjoying many activities. I also do a lot of art right now, and i have won some competitions resulting in money and ribbons. I prefer to draw and do pottery more than anything because they are the easiest for me to get supplies for. At this moment I play Ice Hockey and play a defender, my stick is covered in pink tape and I love to skate with all my friends! I also do TaeKwonDo twice a week, and I am a Black Belt. I played softball for 4 years and soccer for 4 years as well. When i joined highschool, I didn't know anybody, I had come from a small primary school with only 280 students. My best friend and i were split up as we went to different highschools. But at SGGHS i met many friends who are now part of this collaboration website!!

Sree:

Being born in Australia, I was already close to whom I am friends with today. I never really did many activities, however i had a keen interest in music. By the time i reached highschool, I played the acoustic guitar and had really enjoyed it. I even thought of starting a sort of band seeing and Bonnie played violin, Marie played the oboe and many more, and Adelle played the double bass, and the bass guitar! My favourite colour is the spectacular midnight blue. Right as of this moment, i play netball, softball and badminton not to mention cricket. I like to doodle in scrapbooks and make messes with paint! Art class has helped me with sharpening my skills! my star sign is capricorn and my friends are constantly complimenting me on my kindness and generosity!

Marie:

I was born in Australia in June and enjoy life to the fullest. As a very busy person i have gained much skill in the areas of running, skating and music. The only person whom i knew when i arrived on my first day of highschool was Adelle, and she was one of my close friends in primary school which is also another great bonus! I play the oboe, piano and most percussion, i also have a keen interest in athletics, mainly running! As well as all this, i am also a figure skater and having been skating since the age of 4. My favourite subject is English and i also received the English award in primary school. SGGHS was a great choice in highschools for me as i really enjoyed it, and the teachers were pushing me to do my very best!

Adelle:

I too was also born in Australia, and so that makes 4 of us. My favourite animal is the cat, dark black cats. I enjoy running and writing, hanging out with my friends is also by far another thing at the top of my favourite things to do list. I play the bass guitar, and the double bass. My friends all tell me i am probably the most sensible person in our friendship group. Hmm... I knew Marie when we first came to SGGHS and so we stuck together like peanut butter and jelly! i don't really like dogs, they are too energetic. Cats, cats are nice. My favourite colours include anything dull or dark and not too bright. I also do ballet and have help my friends attempt the moves, but it was no use, they just didn't have the swiftness and balance. SGGHS is a fantastic school and i am so glad i made that decision to go there!
